Description: Peltigera britannica (Gyelnik) Holt.-Hartw. & Tonsberg 20090629.31 Trophy Meadows, Wells Gray Park, BC This cyanolichen contains both green algae and cyanobacteria. Unlike other similar cyanolichens, its cyanobacteria, which start out in little wart-like cephalodia like usual, often grow into fully-fledged lichens in their own right (called cyanomorphs). These are the blackish lobes. As if that weren't enough, though, these in turn can produce green-algal lobules on their surface, which in turn grow back into the original chloromorphs! You can see all the above going on in this photo. (P. aphthosa -- which is far more common in this area -- can also rarely do the same thing, however, I'm pretty sure this is P. britannica.).
