Same two birds observed asleep in the willow tree at our garden boundary at 14:35 were observed feeding in the tree over the survey period this time.

Kereru back at 441 pm, getting quite obsessed with seeing them! The tui's are having to take a back seat at the moment!

A couple of Kereru come to my garden nearly every day. Today only one of them came and did stay for a while.

I spotted a minimum of 10 Kereru here today, I suspect there were more, most of them concealed and invisible in the Lucerne and other trees, occasionally coming out to fly around in pairs or small groups. And a few breeding couples feeding in the Lucerne nearby.
