Red-bellied Black Snake (Pseudechis porphyriacus) near Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. Photographed on 27 February 2010. I was having a barbeque with some city friends when this fellow came from behind the Barbeque and slithered along the side of the house. It was around 57 cm (Just under 2 foot) in length. Although quite venemous - it is not as dangerous as most of the other members of the Pseudechis genus.
