Cenchrus (Sandbur) is a genus of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Canada, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and US Minor Outlying Islands.
