Summary[
edit] Description: Beginning to seed itself interestingly around the garden and popping up in unexpected places. A peculiar tulip - completely hardy and perfectly adapted to British gardens - it grows, at Pool Meadow anyway, in the open and among other plants, on the heavy clay as well as the poorer drier soils you'd expect Tulips to do well on. The seed is produced copiously and I've 'helped' it get about pretty indiscriminately. I wonder how long it takes to get from seed to flowering plant?. Date: 22 May 2011, 14:54. Source:
