Myoporum parvifolium series with leaf curling and almost gall-like damage. Shook it around, and eventually this guy came out! Sadly it went rogue at some point. I opened the pot when I got home and there was no sign of it! So this photo will have to do.

Looked like a giant thrips, size about 1 cm long. It was timid and flew off before I could get more photos of it.

I found this in the background image of a few mirids. You can bet I wish I noticed this at the time, one of few easily identifiable thrips. But at least this image is reasonable.

Flower thrips, or similar, makin a mess of viburnum leaves (Viburnum tinus, plant entered as a separate observation).

I think this is thrips (Thysanoptera) damage, and under the microscope there was a lot of larvae.
