Festuca rubra (Red Fescue) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Alaska, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, Eastern North America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and Greenland. They have yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 92.6 cm.
