Calamagrostis inexpansa (Northern Reedgrass) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Greenland, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Canada. They have purple flowers. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
