Eleocharis palustris (Common Spikerush) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to North America, Alaska, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Western North America, and Greenland. They have brown flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.3 feet.
