Summary[edit] Description: Ross sedge, Carex rossii, White Mountains, elevation 3125 m (10260 ft). A common subalpine upland sedge in the White Mountains, but hard to find in reproductive condition, usually just looks like tufts of bright green grass on dry slopes. Date: 24 June 2014, 12:50.
