I was walking the Humber trails this morning and saw this garden snake! It was brown with little markings on it. It was small but very quick! I was able to snap a picture of it before it went into the grass!

This snake looked to be just over a foot long. It was grey with a lighter spine and black dots running along the spine. He was crossing a concrete path when I saw him.

Saw this on a side road near my house. There's a field along the road and have seen snakes on the road various times.

"I almost stepped on this small snake by accident, the markings on its back were consistent with the Northern subspecies rather than the ""diamond pattern"" of the midland species which is also in the area."
