Sorry for the poor photos. These baboons were very shy and hard to approach. Every time I tried to get close for a photo, they ran off. I did manage to get a good look at them through my binoculars though. Quite slender, very light-brownish yellowish body fur, whitish below. White patches on muzzle were conspicuous. Quite different from olive baboons in both appearance and behavior. Seen at Mgeno Ranch, east of Lumo Conservancy, part of the wildlife corridor between Tsavo East and West national parks. Habitat is semi-arid Acacia-Commiphora thornbush.
