Summary[
edit] Description: Psilocybe fimetaria (P.D. Orton) Watling Image location: Staveley, Kendal, Cumbria, England Found fell-top on a public footpath in a clump of grass surrounded by bracken and sparsely grazing cows. Much debate on another website as to specific ID. Among the many species suggested include: Psilocybe semilanceata, Ps. inquilinus, Ps. strictipes, Ps. liniformans var liniformans, Deconica atrobrunnea, Deconica coprophila… Approx 20 Dried specimens – material yet to be sent for microscopy. Specimens (and photos) taken over a number of weeks. Recognized by sight
