"I photographed these barklice on a hardwood tree trunk at Caddo Lake SP. For a long time, I kept trying to make these into an Hemipteran, only to finally see an illustration of this species in Eaton & Kaufman's ""Field Guide to Insects of North America"" (p.35), then got a species ID from BG: http://bugguide.net/node/view/83280 Among the 30+ individuals in this image, the ones with white dots on the FW are males; there are about 5 smaller females in the crowd."
