Summary[edit] Description: Garden catch pre-North winds On Sunday night I ran the garden trap again and I didn't do too bad at all, with 44 moths of 18 species present in the morning. Highlights were my second garden Dark Sword-grass, 5x Red-line Quaker's, and year firsts of Mallow and Red-green Carpet. The weather was warm and mild, but by the evening the sky had cleared and come the morning it was around 12 degrees (about what today has been during the day!) Summary[edit] Description: More newbies for the year Another nights moth trapping and with these warmer conditions during the day and being partly cloudy at night the moths are slowly stirring in my garden finally, but still not in great numbers. There were however 4 new for year and 1 new for garden which is the pending Phyllonorycter emberizaepenella, I say garden but I actually found the mine on a Honeysuckle bush just along the bridlepath but it still fits into my garden tetrad.
