Basically just a miniature fray fox, not sure what the big deal is. They're everywhere here. They even stole my socks that I had hanging outside my door.

I observed a group of several individuals inspect the campsites for food.

At the UCSB Research Station and numerous other sites in the valley or wherever we went. Scat found everywhere. Smaller than mainland fox. About size of medium sized house-cat. Scat contained mostly berries, other seeds; a few had hair and some insect exoskeleton.
