Katak dengan kepala yang lebih besar dari tubuh dan bulat, mata cenderung besar, ujung jari membulat, ibu jari berselaput pada dasarnya. Kulitnya halus dengan jaringan alur-alur rendah, lipatan supratimpanik sampai ke pangkal lengan. Jantan berukuran sampai 60 mm dan betinanya sampai 70 mm. Iris berwarna merah, punggung kehitaman dengan bercak-bercak bulat telur atau bulat yang lebih gelap, permukaan perut keputihputihan dengan bercak hitam.

The species commonly spread at rainforest of Java and Southern Phillipines.
