Green-stripped Grasshopper

Elizabeth and I had a GREAT time at Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge -- there must have been some bad flooding a while back, so it looks like visitation has been low... Anyways, we're going back sometime!

Blackjack Trail at LLELA. I have been trying to get an ID for this and still have no idea what it is.

After Elizabeth got off work, we went to the Oakmont Park. This is such an AWESOME park with some great limestone areas... However, it was really really hot, so we didn't stay too long. :)

After work and after dinner, Elizabeth and I went to Mallard Cove Park -- we've seen a whole lot of things here! :)

This little guy was very tiny and very green. Normally when I see tiny grasshoppers like these I see them in a tan color. He was about two inches and was one that when jumping they make a loud buzzing spitter sound. It was in the area of the boardwalk to the big pond and just happened to get this photo of him. It was very cool.
