Found in the field by the pond near the bus garage.

Seen near the pond, in higher grass. The field also had wildflowers and the location was about 30 feet from the edge of the pond. His wings were mostly grey but with a very small strip of yellow at the bottom and a slightly larger strip of green above that.

First adults I see this year. I tend to find males first, usually about a week or so before I see my first females. Although there is no absolute, most males I see are of the brown form and most females are the green form. I have seen both brown females and green males, but about 80% of them are brown males and green females. En français, cette espèce s'appelle l'Oedipode vert.

My first adult of the season. This is a common species on our homestead, especially on the blueberry barren on the edge of the rocky area on top of the hill.
