edit] Description: English: Michaelmas Daisies (Aster novi-belgii) Most of the Michaelmas daisies found in gardens or growing in the wild throughout Britain belong to the Aster novi-belgii group. The plant's name is derived from the Feast of St. Michael that is traditionally held on 29. September: although the flowering months are from August to late October, this is also the time when the flowers usually bloom. Michaelmas daisies originate from North America.
