Colonies are massive to encrusting, subcerioid to submeandroid with thick walls. Septa are thin and widely spaced. There may be some development of columella centres and/ or paliform lobes. Colour: grey- or yellow-brown with green or cream centres. Abundance: usually uncommon.(Veron, 1986 <57>)
