Cygnus olor (Mute Swan) is a species of birds in the family Anatidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are found in the indo-malayan realm and the palearctic. They are diurnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 70 years. They have parental care (occasionally breeds cooperatively).
