Passer domesticus (House Sparrow) is a species of birds in the family Old World sparrows. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are found in Afrotropics, australasia, the palearctic, antarctica, the indo-malayan realm, and The Neotropics. They are diurnal. Individuals are known to live for 23 years. They have parental care (cooperative breeding).
