Ciconia ciconia (White Stork) is a species of birds in the family Ciconiidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are found in Afrotropics, antarctica, the palearctic, and the indo-malayan realm. They are diurnal. Individuals are known to live for 39 years. They have parental care (occasionally breeds cooperatively).
