We have Turaco's that live in the rain forest around our home. We live near Rain Forest International School and these shy birds have taken up a residence by us. They are really beautiful, especially in flight. I think they may be eating our giant passion fruit that grows on our property, which is ok with me. I have seen groups of two to four of them near our property, generally deep in the trees where it's very hard to get a decent picture. Rainy season is ending so I am curious to see if they will stay or move on. This picture shows an adult with what I believe to be a juvenile in the foreground. They were not out in the open long enough to get great pictures of them, but I will continue to try.

The Knysna Lourie are common residents here in Littlewood Garden and we enjoy them so much. This one just came out of our little stream after his morning bath.
