After the underground river tour, a Hooded Pitta was spotted at the forest floors in the protected area. Pittas are not good flyers, they are usually seen hopping around vegetated ground layers looking for worms and other insects. They actually move fast. Hooded Pittas are found all over the country, they inhabit forest ecosystems which has rich limestone.
