Hartmann (1997: 265-266) does not explicitly write "nomen dubium" in his text, but he states "Argilloecia-Arten, die unvollstaendig beschrieben wurden und nach den bekkanten Merkmalen nicht einwandfrei identifiziert werden koennen", consequently Hartmann does consider this species a nomen dubium.
