"Leopard Seal Errera Channel, Antarctica 31 January 2002 2nd shot shows close up of the head of this animal. resting on ice with two Crabeater Seals in background. The Leopard Seal with its ""reptilian-like"" head will prey on Crabeaters, but I've often seen the two species resting together in harmony. Leopard Seals are one of the most impressive animals I've ever seen. I've had one right next to the Zodiac I was in and had its entire head out of the water looking at me. It is rather thrilling."
