Oncorhynchus tshawytscha (Chinook Salmon) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family Salmonidae. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals are known to live for 9 years and can grow to 150 cm.
