When I walk and bike along the cycleway by the San Gabriel River, I commonly see large silver and grey fish jumping out of the water. Today I finally managed to get photos of some of them (not the easiest thing with an old manual-focus telephoto lens). Does anyone know the species? They have a dark olive back, silver belly and sides, and a yellowish tail.
