This small pupinid landsnail is commonly found in Welington bush patches. We have collected it from East Harbour, Belmont-Kelson, Khandallah Park, Wilton, Trellissick Park, Wainuiomata, Karori, Kaitoke, Akatarawa, Pakuratahi. The animal can seal the shell with an operculum (lid), which is not shown in this image. (Photo: D.J. Roscoe, DOC) Distributed throughout central NZ.
