Senecio hydrophiloides—Sweet marsh ragwort. The species is included in the CNPS Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants on list 4.2 (limited distribution). It is found in wet meadows and similar moist habitat from British Columbia and Alberta south to Utah and California. Most collections in California come from the east side of the Sierra Nevada. The flower head may or may not contain ray flowers. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.
