Summary[edit] Description: Here is the "other" Palafoxia species that lives in my area. I found several blooming on a windy morning at Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Martin County, in the moist pine flatwoods. This Coastalplain palafox (Palafoxia integrifolia) is beautiful and more delicate than its cousin, Feay's palafox. Insects enjoy them both. For those who have not seen it and can tolerate video, here is a short walk through the flatwoods and depression marshes of Jonathan Dickinson. This one was inverted to bring out the detail in the otherwise homogeneous foliage: vimeo.com/21336970. Date: 14 October 2011, 10:15.
