Description: Eurithia (Tachinidae) fly with marauding wasp in pursuit. Another Tachinid fly photographed on the mint. I didn't notice the wasp at the time, though the mint flowers attracts dozens of them to sip drink nectar and/or catch flies. This was taken with a Canon PowerShot SX40 HS with Ranox M-150 macro lens at f/6.3, 1/125, ISO-100 in sunshine augmented by a low intensity flash directed via my Pringles can snoot diffused with kitchen tissue.
