I have come across this scale insect before on other ferns, but never in this arrangement. Virtually all the sori on this Microsorum pustulatum frond were surrounded by them.

Not too sure if this is insect eggs, fungi or something else on the back of korari / harakeke leaves. First time I have spotted this on any korari. Only on 2 bushes in one area.
