Ptelea trifoliata (Common Hoptree) is a species of shrub in the family Rutaceae. They are listed as of special concern by COSEWIC. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, Western North America, and North America. They have yellow flowers and samaras. Individuals can grow to 25 feet.
