Sidalcea reptans—Sierra checkerbloom. The species grows in the high Sierra Nevada between 1100 and 2500 meters. It prefers wet meadows although it is occasionally found in dry places in pine forests. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.
