Ammannia coccinea (Valley Redstem) is a species of annual herb in the family Lythraceae. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, and Puerto Rico. They have purple flowers and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 1.6 feet.
