Summary[edit] Description: English: Ramaria flava is a fungus of the genus Ramaria. The right sporocarp in the picture is in the late stage of its development and has been growing for about two weeks. With a height of approximately 97 mm and a maximum diameter of about 110 mm it is quite small for its age, which might be the result of being fed upon – quite likely by slugs.. Summary[edit] Description: English: Fruit body of the coral fungus Ramaria rubrievanescens Marr & D.E. Stuntz. Photographed in Salt Point State Park, Sonoma Co., California, USA. "Notes: Spore print on this one was a pale orange and the spores were ~ 10.0-12.0(13.0) X 4.8-5.3 microns. R. rubrievanescens seems to be a reasonable guess based on the fleeting pinkish tints on the branches and tips, the large stipe, the shape and dimensions of the spores as well as the rather subtle abaxial ridges on the spores.". Summary[edit] Description: Ramaria rubripermanens Marr & D.E. Stuntz Observation Notes: A Ramaria rubripermanens? fungi at Evergreen Rd., Stanislaus National Forest, Tuolumne County, California, USA. Comment: Unable to get a spore print on the partial specimen I brought back. It also began to deteriorate and get buggy before I could do more work on it. My options narrowed to R. coulterae and R. Rubripermanens. The pinkish-red colors on the specimen did persist and the large stipe was white and became soft. : For more information about this, see the observation page at Mushroom Observer.
