Two adults observed on Bidens alba. I suspect that this is the same pair that I observed yesterday. It looks like they were or had been mating, but they did not latch. Yesterday, it looked as if the male (top) had inserted its mouth part into the female's thorax, but I couldn't tell with certainty. Intermittent rain, overcast, windy, mid-70sF.

Two individuals apparently mating or preparing to do so. It almost looks like the male's mouth part is embedded in the female's thorax, but I'm guessing it's not. The female walked around, carrying the male on her back. Low 80sF, mostly overcast.
