Erect shrub, c. 1-3 m tall. Leaf absent or 15-25 mm long, narrowly elliptic, deciduous. Raceme 5-20-flowered. Calyx c. 7.5 mm long. Corolla 20-30 mm long. Fruit 6.5-10 cm long, c. 6-7.5 mm broad, 12-20-seeded.
