T y p e l o c a l i t y : De Hoop Nature Reserve (34°28’S, 20°30’E), South Africa. S i t e o f i n f e c t i o n : Gall bladder. P r e v a l e n c e : 59% (26/44). E t y m o l o g y : Named after the type host species. P h o t o - r e f e r e n c e : Deposited in the National Museum Bloemfonteins’ Parasite Collection; reference number: NMBP 300.
