Inflorescence a panicle from end of shoots, 10-20 cm long, beautifully silky reddish, purplish, pinkish or white, branches delicate and spreading. Sipkelets covered with fine purplish silvery hairs, stalks slender and with a few long fine hairs at tip; each spikelet with two florets, the lower sterile, the upper bisexual; the upper empty glume and the lower flowering glume with awns. From my trip to Thailand - May 28th - 4th June 2011, most moths were found at the various temples which had metal hallide bulbs fitted to them. The ones labelled 'Hang Dong' came to my 22w Actinic light.Please feel free to help aid identification or correct my proposed identifications.
