As the name would suggest, this climbing salamander is found in the upper (western) Amazon basin, where it is known as Nauta Salamander. Sacha Lodge Reserve, Ecuador.
Summary[edit] Description: English: Jordan's salamander (Plethodon jordani), crawling through the leaf litter along the Baxter Creek Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park of Haywood County, North Carolina, USA.
