Found another one under a rock in the same area as the other. Dry rocky habitat

Individual was found in a small puddle after a hard rain. SVL - 310 mm.

A small purplish snake about 7 cm long. Tail and head are hard to distinguish. It has very small eyes but its tong is frequently visible.

"~6"" long, very lively! Found hiding in the soil under a large granite rock under a shady tree. Though easily grabbed, tried to escape by wriggling vigorously. Didn't tire itself out quickly and wiggled the whole time I was holding it (~5 min. as I was trying to get a clear picture of it). Also gaped its mouth at me, which was adorable."
