This is an interesting moth to find in the park since the larvae apparently feed on the buds of Holodiscus discolor, of which there is only one known individual in this park, not too far from this observation. See http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/2810882

Very pleased to find many of these in Huckleberry today, always near their host, ocean spray. Not sure how I've managed to miss them these many years! I credit @catchang's recent obs from nearby for getting me to keep an eye out for these little guys.
