Summary[edit] Description: This photo, taken June 28, 2013, shows only a small patch of the Avalanche Lilies that are carpeting some of the hillsides along Stevens Canyon Road. One would almost think the slopes were covered in snow again! It actually takes Avalanche Lilies several years before they are mature enough to flower which only makes these blooms all the more beautiful. Date: 2 July 2013, 11:48.
