These big Orb-weavers construct huge webs between the trees. They're usually high above the forest floor, but the strands often obstruct the trail. You have to be careful to spot them and duck out of the way.I've developed a handy (no pun intended) technique of holding one arm out ahead as you walk so you don't run right into the web.
